Hi, I’m the editor of Vintage Truck magazine, a real print publication devoted to light-duty trucks built before the early 1980s. In 2017, I bought a 1996 Ford Bronco from a family member as a convenient way to learn mechanical and restoration skills before tackling a truly “vintage” truck. Below, you’ll find the “Anxious Amateur” archives in its entirety. Please do not share this copyrighted material online.

I have been using my 1996 Bronco to write technical articles in Vintage Truck magazine since the September/October 2018 issue. I am also the editor of that magazine. (If, by any chance, you would like to know about about the magazine or subscribe, visit VintageTruckMagazine.com.
