Cars - Beauty
As a magazine editor, I have learned that there are two types of photographers: those who know how important it is to use a tripod for beauty shots and those who don't. Sure, there are some professionals out there who have rock-solid hands and only shoot in the 1/2000th to 1/5000th of a second shutter speed range, but it is rare that a handheld shot can match a tripod shot for clarity when viewed on a large monitor. Because I am so wedded to my tripod, it is unlikely that anything you see here was handheld.
By the way, here is my rule of thumb for choosing a good tripod: if it is not heavy enough to be used as a blunt force weapon, don't buy it.
