1986 Mustang GT Shoot

I drove to Raleigh yesterday to photograph a 1986 Mustang GT for the new Fox Mustang Magazine. The owner, Jeff Keisner, of Comdon Autosport, was very easy to work with. He let me have the 21,000-mile hatchback and sales guy Greg Romano for the afternoon. We found an unfinished stretch of road that was closed to the public, and I enjoyed a rare stress-free photo shoot. This short clip of video includes a couple of sneak peeks from the shoot.

The ’86 will be featured in the first issue of Fox Mustang Magazine. For more information about this new title, visit this link.

Monster Trucks at CMS

The public relations department at Charlotte Motor Speedway hired me to photograph the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash being held at The Dirt Track Saturday night. Rain limited my flexibility with lenses and flash, but I feel I captured the look of a muddy good time.

1965 Mustang Wagon Shoot

(Photo Brad Bowling)

I spent the afternoon at Charlotte Motor Speedway photographing this very unusual and beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang station wagon.

Here is a sneak sample from the photo shoot that really shows off the car’s “shooting brake” or “estate wagon” nature. The full story is scheduled to appear in the November 2011 issue of Mustang Monthly magazine.

2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 Shoot

(Photo Brad Bowling)

I spent the afternoon in Greenville, S.C., at Tommy Pike Customs. Tommy just finished an all-metal widebody conversion on a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8, and I was eager to photograph it before the black beast returned to its owner in Georgia.

Here is a sneak sample from the photo shoot that really shows off the new car’s extra 7 inches of width. The full story is scheduled to appear in the October 2011 issue of Auto Enthusiast magazine.

UPDATE: Here is a link to the October 2011 issue of Auto Enthusiast magazine. The Challenger story starts on page 118.

2003 SVT Cobra Shoot

(Photo Brad Bowling)

I shot Monty Seawright’s 2003 SVT Cobra 10th Anniversary model for Auto Trader’s Musclecar Milestones magazine. Like many cars in Seawright’s collection, this red beauty has never been driven on the street.

Like a lot of companies, Auto Trader stopped producing print editions of its magazines shortly after I turned in this feature. I have been told the material will be used in an upcoming edition of Auto Trader’s online publications.
