I should say this is not a joke of my creation. I was dropping off a Netflix envelope this morning at my post office when I saw what had to be somebody’s idea of belated Rapture humor. My Droid X phone captured the moment.
People always say you never see a picture of a photographer.
It is true that we shooters usually hide behind the camera, but occasionally someone snaps a picture of us at work or on vacation. Here are a few images friends have taken of me when I got on the other side of the lens.
A family of rabbits has joined the squirrels, birds (even an occasional hawk), and other varmints that live in our yard. These guys are so accustomed to people and dogs that they do not run until something gets within a few feet. We’ve enjoyed watching through our kitchen window as they frolic and sunbathe in the front yard.
OK, so it’s not the centerfold. Still, I was pleased to be quoted as a Mustang expert in a publication whose articles I have so thoroughly read over the years. Clicking on the photo should give a large enough image to read my brief reference.
