Books
I wrote my first book for Krause Publications in 2001 while still working for the p.r. department at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Jim Lenzke, with whom I worked when I was the editor of
Old Cars Weekly News & Marketplace (a Krause title), recommended me for the task because he knew of my Mustang background. The book, titled
Mustang, America’s Favorite Pony Car, was actually a heavy rewrite of a work Krause produced a few years earlier.
Once that project was finished, Jim and I worked together to create a Mustang-oriented installment for Krause’s famous Standard Catalog series.
Since then, I have written a total of 14 books for five different publishers. That tally includes The Saleen Book (1984-2003) 20 Years of Saleen Mustangs, which I wrote and my wife and I published as Driveway Books LLC.
